Cubo Canary Wharf

The kitchen was great. Apartment was very clean when we checked in.

Mattress on Beds are too soft and need to be replaced immediately.

Well furnished apartment in a convenient area. High quality beds and bed linen.

We knew in advance there was no air conditioning. The apartment had two large fans which were powerful and moved air very well. However, nothing could have prepared us for the torture of the 36 degree heatwave! Our apartment was on the 9th floor and caught a lot of sun. We kept the blinds and curtains closed and stayed indoors for a full three days (out of seven days) just trying to bear it. An added misfortune was the fridge freezer did not work. Management worked quickly to order and install a new one. Nevertheless, we arrived on a Wednesday and it was Friday morning when the new fridge freezer was up and running. A little table-top fridge was provided as a stopgap on the Thursday. Then one morning there was no water for a few hours. This was outside management's control. Then on the second last day we arrived back to find the entry system had been changed without notification and our fobs no longer worked. We tail-gated in after a resident and were provided with new fobs the next morning. All in all, we were very unfortunate with our stay in Cubo Canary Wharf. I would like to emphasise that management were always responsive and helpful. However, we suffered a lot of inconvenience and did not enjoy our holiday.

El alojamiento es estupendo, con todo lo necesario en la cocina, lavadora, y muy espacioso. La limpieza es excepcional y nos dejaron toallas suficientes para toda la semana. El personal muy amable cuando contactamos con ellos para que pudieran guardarnos las maletas después del check out, nos atendieron muy bien. La zona nos encantó, aunque no es una zona muy conocida cuando vas de viaje a Londres, es perfecta. Hay de todo cerca, supermercados, todas las líneas de metro y en 30 min estás en el centro, para nosotros un acierto!

Los colchones no son los mejores aunque se duerme bien. Lo peor el calor, nos cogió una ola de calor en Londres y en general no están preparados para ello. Menos mal que había dos ventiladores, uno para cada dormitorio, aún así hacía mucho calor en el piso y en las zonas comunes. Pero como digo no es normal ese calor en Londres

The location was actually pretty good for us. It was very close to the metro station and we had plenty or restaurants/shopping nearby as well.
