Freundlich eingerichtete Wohnung, zwar zum Norden ausgerichtet aber im 4. Stock ohne vis a vis somit hell. Kein Straßenlärm. Die Couch mit Récamiere war ideal, um zwischendurch zu entspannen. Essen-Philharmonie, HBF, belebte Rüttenscheider Str. alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Ziele wie Zollverein oder Villa Hügel sehr einfach mit ÖPNV. Für die uncoolen Nuki-App-Allergiker wie mich gibt es auch eine "Normal-Schlüssel-Lösung".

Das Bad ist nicht optimal eingerichtet. Phasenweise unangenehmer Geruch. Dusche ohne Vorhang. Kalt/Warmwasser vom Boiler schwierig einzustellen. Man verbrennt sich zuerst, dann ist es zu kalt. Ich musste - obwohl generell schon sauber - einige hartnäckige fremde Haare aus dem Wasserabfluss in der Badewanne entfernen :-( Auch in der Küche könnte es beim Geschirr und in den Schubladen akkurater geputzt werden. Der Fernseher könnte eingestellt sein .... Insgesamt aber in Ordnung.

The apartment is located in a very safe and quiet area with a cute park nearby. It’s very close to all the main places and has access to public transport. It is large, well renovated and cozy. Special plus for a bathtub and an elevator. A very easy check in too.

Interaction with the host was difficult. Responses were delayed and in German. The kettle was broken, one window would not close and some of the electrical outlets were loose and sparked when used. Unfortunately the kitchenware was in poor condition, many of the things were slightly broken on the edges. Most of the dishes were dirty when I checked in, although they ask to wash them before the check out which I find very unfaire. If all mentioned things above could be somehow manageable, the absolute deal breaker for me was the lack of hygiene!! Although the things like bathtub, sinks, toilet were very tidy, I found black hair everywhere, including inside the only three drawers available for clothing. It was very disgusting to clean it. As well as the pillows were stained and yellow..To make matters worse, the pillowcases were the wrong size. The pillows size was around 80x80, so they folded it in half trying to fit them in pillowcases 40x80 (approximate dimensions). Obviously it resulted to a frustrated mess as these dirty pillows constantly popped out of the pillowcases.
