Urban Escape in Downtown Traverse City

Beautiful apartment. Clean and nicely appointed. Very comfortable in every way.

This was on the 3rd floor with no elevator and this was not disclosed in the listing. It would have been a disaster if we had mobility problems. This should be highlighted right up front. Also, the parking in the back was extremely limited. The parking was totally full for the entire time we were there. We were not able to park there at all overnight and therefore it should be disclosed that the cost of staying at this property should add the additional $25 per day for the public parking next door. I felt these two items (3rd floor walk up and parking) were misleading in the listing.

Convenient location, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Unit was very clean and the whole process was very easy.

Property was fine. Bed was a little soft for us but that is an us issue, we like firmer mattresses.

Our stay at Urban Escape was very good. The location is just a few blocks from Front Street, maybe a 10 minute walk. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, we did not lack for anything. The communication with the hosts was also exceptional; all my questions were answered immediately.

The free parking was limited as others have mentioned, but it did open up on our last day of three. I believe the parking conditions have been improved as of August 1st, but there is a paid lot right next door as well. The apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator which was fine for us, but it is important to be aware of this.

The location is ideal - within walking distance to downtown. The apartment is new, bright, clean, well equipped. There is a huge shower. It's relatively quiet. The owners try to make you feel welcome.

Just know ahead of time - 3 1/2 flights up to the apartment - not a problem for us. Also, there is limited parking. There is a for-pay parking garage right next door if needed - and we needed it.
