Overall, the property requires much better cleaning and maintenance in order to provide a comfortable stay.
The only positive aspects were the location – the house is set in a beautiful area with picturesque views – and the convenience of having a supermarket nearby.
We stayed at this property for a weekend and, unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were far below expectations. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong unpleasant smell inside the house caused by unemptied bins. The toilets were not properly cleaned, which made them very unhygienic. One of the beds in the bedrooms was broken, which made it impossible to rest comfortably. The clothes dryer was damaged and could not be used. The freezer did not close properly, preventing us from storing food safely. In addition, there was no outdoor furniture, and the garden itself was poorly maintained with rubbish left behind, which made it unpleasant to use.

Could easily be a 5* property
Ideal location on the main road. Plenty of parking outside on the roadside. The High Street and shops were a few minutes away. The house was spacious, well set out and decorated for a valley terraced house. Inside was mostly clean. The lights on the stair steps were useful.
Some issues could be addressed to change it from a good house to a great house. The Courtyard area was not clean. We were disappointed that there was no patio furniture provided although advertised. The towels also had seen better days and there was one half bottle of shower gel. It needs some place to put coats and footwear as you come in through the front door. It would have been helpful to have some sort of folder/information about the local area, medical services, restaurants, takeaways and refuse/recycling disposal etc
