Its style invites you to relax after long, timeless days spent in Les Epesses at the Grand Parc du Puy du Fou, on the nearby hiking trails, following in the footsteps of our historical figures, or exploring the riches of the land and sea in our beautiful Vendée region. Two living rooms, one of which is on the mezzanine (equipped with a beautiful sofa bed that sleeps 1 adult or 2 children), 2 double bedrooms (1 with a 160-bed, 1 with 2 90-beds), a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher), a bathroom with a shower and vanity (including a washing machine), and a separate toilet.
During peak and high season—when rentals are available by the week only—we provide bed linens, and you’ll be pleased to find all the beds made and ready for your stay.
Make the most of the large terrace to enjoy breakfast while admiring the view of Pouzauges, have lunch and dinner, or simply soak up the sun.
Walk past the former workshop—now converted into “Le Bistrot des Amis”—to relax on the south side and enjoy, from April through October, our beautiful outdoor area featuring a pool, hot tub, and sauna.
Lie back on a lounge chair and let yourself be carried away by the surrounding nature.

GITES LA BELLE EPOQUE - MEASURES TO COMBAT THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS
We would like to reassure our guests: we have provided bottles of hand sanitizer, boxes of paper tissues and corresponding trash cans, bottles of 70% household alcohol (to be kept out of children’s reach), and disinfectant wipes. Long before the current health crisis, we had already made it a habit to use household alcohol, white vinegar, and baking soda as our main cleaning products, and bleach for the bathrooms. Our habits have remained the same, but we’ve become more vigilant and demanding.
Our kids would call us “obsessive”!
