Often called "the open air museum" of North America, the neighbourhood is all you're looking for when you come to town. Old Montreal is where it all started back in the 1600s, and it's all kept amazingly intact, with abundance of character, charm, conviviality, shopping and entertainment. just open your building door and you're in it!

GETTING AROUND:
We recommend you to walk to get the best out of the old cobblestone streets and heritage buildings, but the nearest metro stop is only 2 min walk for Place D'Armes station. Uber is also available in our city and Taxis are down the street from your loft, also, you can count on the BIXI service in summertime, the montreal bicycle program, you can find more about it online, super practical.

GORGEOUS loft right in the heart of Vieux Montréal! We are a group of 4 women & it was perfect because we each had our own room and there were 2 bathrooms (although there are no outlets in the primary bathroom). The primary bathroom has two doors, one opening to the hall (so people don’t have to go through the primary bedroom to get to the bathroom). To note: two of the bedrooms close with barn doors and their walls, while normal height, do not reach all of the way to the high ceiling. The only drawback to the apartment is that it’s a 3rd floor walk-up … but while we didn’t enjoy climbing the stairs, we all agreed the apartment was worth it! The decor is delightful. The apartment is one block to Notre-Dame Basilica and two blocks to Saint-Paul Street (the main pedestrian street lined with restaurants and shops in Vieux Montréal). Just around the corner is Le Petit Dep, a lovely little coffee shop. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, lots of space for a family. Kitchen was well furnished. Communication with owner was frustrating. Maybe a language difference. The AC was loud window units. Expected central air so sleeping was troubling. Could use some upgrades.

We had a great time with this property. It’s a fantastic location. The ambience is really fun and everything was exactly as described in the listing. Some answers/responses from the property owner took a little longer, but overall anything we needed for our stay to be easy and efficient was taken care of promptly. It’s important to note that this is a third-floor walk up and it is quite a steep climb for some folks. We are relatively young and it was a little tough even on us. Since this is Montreal, there’s also no central air. There are window units, which do help with the heat in the summer, but it was pretty warm overall. The bunk bed room in the center of the property does not get much ventilation, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling during the warmer months. I would also not recommend trying to put two adults in the bunkbed. We had a great trip and really appreciate the owner’s having us.

Fantastic location and great for accommodating our group of four for a long weekend. Quite noisy, which felt like a reasonable trade-off for the location. Unclear communication around check-in, even after we requested information, but it all worked out well and hosts were gracious around same.
