About this apartment rental
It is in this beautiful half-timbered Alsatian house that you will stay on the first floor in the Alsatian cottage, comfortable, fully equipped, tastefully furnished and endowed with a lot of charm. It is good to stay and stroll in the streets of old Eguisheim, in the warm light that varies according to the seasons, thus enhancing the colorful palette of the houses nestled in the hollow of the ramparts.
The cottage L'Alsacienne is a beautiful little apartment on the first floor of the residence. The entrance is on one level, just a small one works to enter the house.
The cottage is cosy, decorated to the taste of the day, fully equipped so that you have the best possible stay. The floor is tiled for more cleanliness and brings a certain freshness in summer.
You go directly into the fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and of course crockery and pans). You will even find a raclette machine to share a delicious meal in winter.
The kitchen is open to the living room. A comfortable sofa with an armchair to relax after your visits and walks in the nearby vineyard. A large storage cupboard is available in the living room.
After a small hallway is a separate toilet with washbasin. Opposite there is the bedroom with the shower room. The bedroom is magnificent with its stone wall which gives it an exceptional character. The bed is comfortable in size 160x200. A wardrobe with shelves will also allow you to settle in and put all your belongings.
The bathroom is small but functional composed of a shower, a vanity unit, and a heated towel rail. A vmc ensures its good ventilation.
For your comfort, beds are made before arrival, as well as towels and bath towels provided in the bathroom.
Fiber WIFI is available in the apartment.
In winter, the heating is optimal with radiators in each room that everyone can adjust to their liking. The central heating is city gas for pleasant warmth when returning from visits to the Christmas markets and a cocooning stay.

Eguisheim, the cradle of the Alsatian vineyards, is backed by gentle hills planted with vines. Located at an altitude of 210 metres, in the heart of Alsace, this wine-growing village spreads out the 339 hectares of its terroir 5 kilometres from Colmar and close to Strasbourg, Fribourg and Basel, European capitals, allowing you to discover many things in the surrounding area and to taste the good Alsatian gastronomy.

The gîte La Bretzel 🥨 is an apartment located on the 1st floor of the residence.
This cottage is very bright, decorated to the taste of the day, fully equipped so that you have the best possible stay. The floor is tiled for more cleanliness and brings a certain freshness in summer.

We enjoyed being able to step outside our door and walk the cobbled stone paths to the village center. The apartment was just right for us and was quiet at night.
Parking was 3 euro per day in a lot just a couple of minutes away. Laurence and his father made sure we were happy. The village is very close to Colmar with a lovely, large old town with many shops. A trip up the mountain was a nice day as well.

Beautiful appartment on the prettiest street in Eguishem! Very clean and well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood with very good restaurants within a few steps!

We stay at the holyday flat together with our 3 months old baby. The rooms ware very clean and tastefully arranged. The hosts ware very frindly, and organized us a baby crib for our baby. Also the comunication with the host was very easy.
