Newseat is in Rhynie near Huntly, Banffshire and sleeps 13 guests in 6 bedrooms.

Town: The pretty town of Huntly is located in Speyside, and is surrounded by rolling Scottish hills and open fields. The town has an interesting history, and the Standing Stones of Strathbogie lie in the centre of Huntly just beside the Brander Museum which is well worth a visit. Of course, the whole area forms part of the famous Whisky Trail and there are seven working distilleries for those interested in sampling a true taste of Scotland! Apart from whisky there are excellent hotels and pubs to appreciate, and Huntly also boasts an 18 hole golf course. A visit to the outdoor centre allows for the opportunity to participate in some roller skiing, or perhaps just enjoying the simple pleasures of cycling and walking in the wonderful Clashindarroch Forest is more your taste. Some 10 miles away is the town of Keith, gateway to the 'Malt Whisky Trail' and home to Scotland's oldest working malt whisky distillery. Keith is a pretty and very typical Scottish town with an excellent selection of shops and dining out opportunities.
