New Harbor

The location was amazing - right on Nyhavn with a beautiful view. Close to all major sites, lots of restaurants and cafes, and easy to get to the metro station. The lovely apartment was spacious, with a large kitchen and common area, nice bathroom and good bedrooms (one had queen bed and one had king bed). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes (although no coffee) and had a nice fridge and dishwasher. Host was very communicative.

This is not a negative, but just good to know that because the apartment is located on Nyhavn, it is very crowded outside the door and there are lots of restaurants and tourists on the street. The music and restaurant noises can go late into the night (until 2 am on Saturday) so you will hear that, but the windows did a pretty good job of blocking most of the noise if they are closed (which could be a problem if it is hot and you need to keep them open for air since there is no A/C). The upstairs neighbor is a loud walker, just FYI. And, this was not a problem for us, but there is no elevator and two flights of stairs. Also, again just an FYI, there is no washing machine to do laundry.

Definitely the BEST play to stay in Copenhagen. For up to 4 people. Waking up every morning on the prettiest street in the city. Large comfortable apartment. I would definitely stay there again.

1. The entrance / hallway / stairway should be tidied up and painted. That was disappointing. 2. A larger sofa would have been good - four people can't sit on the existing sofa comfortably (even for 3 it wasn't great) and considering the size of the living room, it would be easy to fit a larger sofa. 3. There was nowhere to hang up our towels, not even a hand towel. 4. There should be a shelf/caddy inside the shower for shampoo and soap. 5. Some drawers in the bedroom without the cupboard are needed. These would have made the stay even better.

Ganz schönes Apartment. Zentrale Lage, allerdings auch ein großer Nachteil, da extrem laut (wofür man den Vermieter allerdings nicht verantwortlich machen kann)

Ohrenstöpsel haben leider nichts genutzt, nachts feierte der Nachbar im 1. Stock lautstarke Parties; an Samstagen ist in dem Lokal nebenan Livemusik; wir hatten das zweifelhafte Vergnügen von der Wohnung aus teilzuhaben. Insbesondere die Soli des Drummers waren nachhaltig beeindruckend. Ging bis ca 4 Uhr morgens. Leider war das Badezimmer sehr klein und nicht wirklich belüftet. Es roch ein bisschen danach, allerdings für eine Wohnung in einem historischen Gebäude wahrscheinlich nicht ungewöhnlich.
