Amazing views
The cottage was quaint and homely, very tidy and plenty of room for everyone. The views were amazing and the log fire made it really cosy
We didn't like driving up to the cottage itself, the tiny lanes were a little scary and it set off all the sensors on the car

Beautiful location, great views, let down a little by not attending to items needing replacing
The property has amazing views and is warm and cozy
The mattresses were appalling, thin, old and with so little padding that I could feel the slats of the bed frame through it and had to sleep on the floor. We complained after the first night (a Friday night) and a new mattress was delivered on the Monday but we had to sleep on the floor for 3 nights. Looking at previous reviews we saw this had been mentioned previously. We’ve not received any recompense at the time of writing.

Fantastic
The property was very well equipped with really comfortable beds and was clean and welcoming on arrival. The views were amazing and the location was great as a base to visit other area's. Coniston is a really lovely place.

The location is high above Coniston. Other than the walk up the hill it was lovely.
Parking was tough. Best to have a 4x4.
