Cozy hotel, but the reception staff left a negative impression

The cleanliness and the minimalistic design

I was disappointed with the welcome I received at check-in. The staff member misjudged the size of the garage entrance and assured me that my car would fit. Unfortunately, it did not, and I damaged my trunk as a result. Additionally, I was not given any assistance or information about where I could store my skis. This created a negative first impression from the very beginning of my stay.I expected better service,and the staff could have been more helpful 😞

Excellent hotel and a top address in Belgrade. We stayed here with my girlfriend and were extremely satisfied. The staff is highly professional, friendly, and attentive. Special thanks to Nemanja for his outstanding service and Saša from the restaurant team. The hotel provided excellent recommendations for room placement and excursions. The food was outstanding—truly a gastronomic paradise. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced. The location is perfect, very close to major sights, easy to reach by taxi, and ideal for excursions. A beautiful riverside promenade is within walking distance, with many excellent local and international restaurants offering high-quality cuisine and a great wine selection. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again, Ela & Marina

One of the best hotels we have stayed at

A very nice hotel, in a very convenient location to get to, and easy to get anywhere in the city .The room was not big, but very clean, convenient and with all necessary facilities. The breakfast was very good, and the way it was featured on the buffet was outstanding .The stuff was very nice, helpful, and always with a smile: in the reception, the dining room and the room maids. .All in all, We will surely recommend this hotel and return to on our next visit in Serbia

Excellent location, nice hotel

Great location, close to party clubs and not too long walk to the center/WB. Breakfast is good and you can park your car in a garage inside the hotel. Very kind staff

Great new hotel - cozy and clean with a view of the river

Great new hotel - very clean and with underground parking. Some rooms have nice view of the river, however they are a bit noisy. Restaurant served good breakfast and also nice cocktails in the afternoon (we didn't try dinner).

Although it is centrally located, there's a climb up to reach the main street or Kalemegdan fortress.

Very nice new hotel, very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant with wonderful food. Great breakfast.

The only downside is the slippery shower floor, which we found dangerous. Anti-slip material should definitely be installed. This applies to room 304; it may be different in other rooms.

Working trip in Belgrade.

Excellent hotel, better than expected to be honest. The room was not very large, but large enough and the facilities were perfect. Quiet, warm, and very clean. The personnel was fantastic and really helpfull. I tried the restaurant as well and it was very good.

Excellent hotel room we got a river view and the view was amazing comfortable bed good size room clean everything was great breakfast was really good loverly selection offered of local food and lots off choices we stayed three nights and there’s different types off food every day wonderful stay Wi-Fi was good 👍 Maria and Shaun England

The fridge was one off those activated when you removed something so we could not put our water in to keep it cold not a dealbreaker but it would be nice to have a fridge you can use !

I had booked delux room , with balcony , unfortunately we were given room with aFrench balcony !! You could not even stand there ! Which wasn’t what I wanted ! Left our room and on return late at night found our door open ! I presume the cleaner forgot to close the door !! Nothing was missing but didn’t feel safe after that incident ,complained but no apology or explanation given !! In description doesn’t say you need to walk up very steep steps in a badly lit place to reach the main center , Had to take a taxi every night , because those steps are really dangerous 😒

Great hotel however disappointing experience

Clean. Well located near the old town and near the new waterfront areas. Walking distance to points of interest. Kind and welcoming staff (houskeeping, restaurant staff and receptionists).

I'd give it 10 out of 10 however I had a major problem. The air conditioning was terrible. I complained several times, but the management only kept saying they would call maintenance, and nobody ever showed up from maintenance. I had to wake up drenched in sweating every night. It was a very disappointing experience, especially for such an expensive hotel, with high ratings on Booking.com!! On the 3rd day, the receptionist changed my room, and thankfully, the new room AC was working very well. I felt bad as my concern was not taken seriously from the management and maintenance.

$200 US to do half a load of laundry and have a glass of orange juice. Kinda like the cabs there. Seems this is typical for the area.

Perfect hotel in an ideal location

Our stay at the Calisi Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better. Just a short walk to the Old Town, the Kalemegdan Fortress, and right by the riverside promenade. Despite being so central, it’s wonderfully quiet, allowing for complete relaxation. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was varied, fresh, and delicious. What impressed us most was the team – everyone was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and attentive. You can truly feel that service from the heart is a priority here. We felt completely at home and would happily return anytime.

Great place to stay in Belgrade

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to some historical attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and the food there was really good. Variety for breakfast and they also have lunch and dinner (at an additional cost) we had dinner and we enjoyed it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter at breakfast (Sale) was always in a good mood and even joked around with us. The location is excellent, and everything is easy to reach. Every request was taken care of immediately with a friendly smile, and we never felt like a bother. They also made a great effort to speak German with our German-speaking guests.

Cute Hotel in Belgrade

It is very near Beton Hala, a place where the nightlife happens, so if you want to visit Lafayette or similar this is the perfect place to stay. Breakfast was great and a lot of options for every taste, vary happy that they include Serbian style specialities. Very stylish ambient and nice view of the Sava river, you can also catch the sunset if you have a room with a view. Very clean, this is very important for me.

There is a fridge with a minibar that registers every time you take something out. It is not really a negative comment but would be nice to have another option to store personal stuff cold with more space.
