Wonderful area! Very close to the Duomo and to Santa Croce which I found to be one of the most lovely churches we visited in all of Italy. (It was even great for kids with the scavenger hunt they provided!) The host provided a list of restaurants to try -- the bakery right around the corner was delicious and reasonably priced!! The apartment was very clean and even had a small washing machine and clothesline we could use. Just pay attention to the check in window. Somehow when booking, I missed that there was a particular check-in window and our train was arriving after that time. The host accommodated our needs, but I know it was an inconvenience.
