Location, surrounding farm life and self contained cottage
no microwave or long life milk in the fridge, did not receive any details on collecting the key from Booking .com but the station caretaker enabled us to gain entry.

A great location - peaceful, beautiful scenery. We booked two properties for our family weekend - The Lodge (4 bedrooms) and the Stockman's Cottage (2 bedrooms) - which are next to each other which was great for the whole family. The space in the Lodge is amazing - large kitchen/dining area and the enclosed deck gave us plenty of space for everyone. We had four generations of our family together for a long weekend and it was great to be able to go for walks, to play outdoor games in the huge garden and enjoy the firepit area in the evenings. A great place for a tranquil getaway!
