Cosy Secure comfortable for two in Canberra

The kitchen was equipped with the essential items. The bed was comfortable and unit was clean/tidy and the aircon worked well. We picked the accommodation as it was close to family as that was the purpose of our visit and we were not spending much of time in the room, basically only for sleeping. It was a bit smaller than I expected.

Even though kitchen had essential items it could do with a small pod coffee machine. We stayed for for 7 nights and there was minimal tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper supplied and no milk. Our first stop was to the shop to stock up on supplies. 2 x days after our arrival a bag was left at the door with 1ltr long life milk and extra toilet paper. Upon arriving we found there was only street parking ( i don't think I took notice of that when booking) the address is correct but the suburb is not Hall it is Taylor. I feel it should be advertised as a bed sit. It was plenty big enough for two people for sleeping and as long as you don't have to stay in the room for long periods. We also found on arrival that the room was under the main house and the foot noise from above could be heard. I believe the person above does daycare. Thankfully by the time we returned in the evenings no noise was heard we are also early risers so the morning noises didn't bother us too much. I probably should have looked more thoroughly on the map but from the pictures shown of the property I thought it was a little studio semi attached to the property and not underneath. Only 2 x towels were supplied and no hand towel given. As it was winter & cold the towels didn't dry during the day and we had to dry them under the aircon before using.

Bathroom is really nice. There is also a kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge, which would be useful if you were staying a few days. The bed was comfortable and the room is heated / cooled.

The only thing I would change is having an extra blanket available to add to the bed, especially in winter.

The property is clean and nice. Can add some few upgrade in the toilet to keep small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and small size of soap instead of using soap. Like use and throw for hygiene purposes. Other than that it’s beautiful place to stay.

When booking, it had nothing about dogs needing to be professionally groomed, only told by the host once booked. Having my dog groomed by a 'professional' is well over $100, could easily stay somewhere much nicer with that cost considered and it should be disclosed as it explicitly says 'no extra charges' in relation to pets in the booking. A simple brush or clean should suffice. Given the lack of furniture, it also seems excessive. I parked on the street in front of the accommodation, leaving a safe distance from around the bend. I got asked to move the car which I don't really understand as the park was perfectly legal. It was raining and I had lots of bags so wasn't happy that the expectation would be to walk it all a further distance. As other reviews stated there is noise from upstairs but it stops at night so not the biggest issue. In the description it does mention milk but opened the fridge for it to be empty. There's also a camera right at the front that leaves the feeling of being watched, althougu I understand wanting to protect the property. In hindsight would have rather spent more money and stayed elsewhere.
