About this house rental
CASA DOS AVÓS—official Portuguese rental registration license number 85073-40624 —is one of two vacation homes on the CASA DOS AVÓS property, which was completely renovated in 2003. With its “rustic” style interiors, it has a very peaceful atmosphere. Tasteful decor combined with modern amenities offers space and comfort for up to 4 people. Nestled in the heart of a protected landscape area of breathtaking natural beauty, near the small town of LAGOA, this oasis of relaxation lies quiet and secluded from conventional tourism. It features a large, covered terrace area with a built-in barbecue and is accessible from all sides. From its north side, you have a fantastic panoramic view of vineyards, citrus groves, and the Serra de Monchique. It’s only about 4 km to dreamy beaches such as PRAIA DA MARINHA and PRAIA DE BENAGIL. A fenced-in area of 5,000 m² provides parking spaces for several cars and ensures undisturbed privacy.
CASA DOS AVÓS and its neighboring house, CASA GALERIA (vacation rental ID: 762862 ), are two completely separate living units that can be rented together if desired.
This makes QUINTA CASA DOS AVÓS very attractive for smaller travel groups and families of up to 8 people.
Both properties share a spacious park with large lawns, separate terraces, and entrances. While CASA DOS AVÓS, furnished in a traditional country house style with its two separate bedrooms, is better suited for families, CASA GALERIA (vacation rental ID: 762862 ) is designed more as a modern “one-room penthouse” for couples. Both houses, whether rented separately or together, are ideal for self-catering guests. Numerous shopping options, such as large supermarkets, are available in the immediate vicinity, and the small town of Lagoa invites visitors to its daily fish market. Various smaller cafes and restaurants are scattered throughout the town. All essential government services (fire department, police, health center, etc.) are also located here, as well as pharmacies, specialty shops, and more. -

Nice country-style house with cosy terrace and wonderful pool area. Well located, i.e. rural but close to coast, beautiful beaches (we liked Praia de Albandeira most), Lagoa, ...The interior of Casa dos Avos would deserve some upgrade / refreshment (e.g. bathroom) to be as "stylish" as the house itself. Contact with Andreas was good. We only had no WLAN for the entire week, as no loaded prepay SIM card could get organized. Should be easy to fix this for the future and have 1 or 2 SIM cards on stock in case of "emergency".

Wir verbrachten dieses Jahr im Juni unseren Urlaub in Portugal und hätten keine bessere Unterkunft finden können ! Super geräumiges Haus (wir waren zu zweit) auch mit Kindern. Sehr ruhige Lage, die nächsten Nachbarn sind weit entfernt, nur die entzückende Hausverwalterin Maria Jose wohnt ca. 300m entfernt und hält das Haus rein und fein. Im Haus gibts alles was man für ein gemütlichen Urlaub braucht, auch alle deutschen Fernsehprogramme waren vorhanden. Der tolle große Grill war bestens gepflegt, so dass man einfach grillen "musste"! Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Urlaub und so möchten wir uns auch noch bei dem reibungslosen,einfachen Ablauf mit dem Hausbesitzer bedanken. Unser nächster Portugal-Urlaub wird auf jeden Fall wieder in diesem Haus sein!!!
