About this house rental

Newly renovated home, with this house being only 2 blocks away from downtown you are close to activities such as, the Mineral Belt Trail, Leadville Railroad, Mosquito Pass, all the local restaurants/shops, Mining Musuem and Turquoise Lake. There are also ski resorts such as Ski Cooper which is ~15 minutes away and Copper Mountain with just a 30-minute drive. There are also two security cameras located on the front of the house, one is pointing towards the trash bin alley side and the other looking towards the front parking.

The house was perfectly located for our trip to Leadville, close enough to walk to restaurants and shops, and close enough to drive to trailheads. The house was clean and comfortable, and the check-in process was a breeze.

Everything about the property was excellent and we were thankful to have found this wonderful house in the perfect location! Our son lives just around the corner, so this was so convenient. While in Leadville we enjoyed the town, the Healy House museum, white water rafting in Buena Vista, hiking Elbert, Turquoise Lake, independence Pass and Aspen, hiking to Weller Lake near Aspen, hot springs in Buena Vista, and also took advantage of being able to make coffee and breakfasts in our kitchen. Thank you so much, Paul, for making everything easy and efficient. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean and new and in good repair, kitchen well-stocked with dishes and cookware, windows open easily to enjoy the cool weather. Plentiful hot water and comfortable sheets, blankets, towels. Two thumbs up and would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely perfect! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, even steaks. Having two bathrooms was ideal, and the location was unbeatable—just blocks from downtown. Communication with the host was excellent. All in all, I highly recommend staying here!I went snowboarding at Ski Cooper, and the location was perfect—just a quick 15-minute drive!

The property manager always replied right away to any questions. But what made him fantastic is when we reached out for where to find a lightbulb and there suddenly was a knock on the door with someone handing me lightbulbs!

I spent 5 days in the Spruce house during the holidays and I couldn't have felt more at home! The place included all the amenities including a full kitchen where I made lunch every day during my stay. Not to mention it is just a few minutes from the main street and less than 20 from the mountain to snowboard. I definitely recommend!

The house was very clean, wonderful kitchen, etc. We had trouble finding it though. It was on a one-way street that GPS didn’t seem to know about. The street a block away was closed due to construction. We called the host and he came and showed us how to get to the house.

The neighborhood was a little bit of a turn off, but it was interesting - what you might expect in a town like Leadville. Inside, the house was lovely! Very comfortable. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

We came for one night before hiking early in the morning. The house is so cute. The outside is colorful and matched the neighborhood. The inside is brand new and in great shape. There are 2 rooms with a queen bed in each, and another room with 2 single beds. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There are 2 toilets and baths. I wish we could stay longer. We will definitely be back

Very close to downtown just two blocks. Was easy to contact the owner to help us extend our stay and waive the second cleaning fee. Very clean, nicely furnished with huge tv, refrigerator, and all the pots pans and dishes to cook a large meal. They even included all the spices that you need to prepare a meal. I recommend this location to anyone wanting to have a base camp to visit many of the popular locations within a 1.5 hr drive or just stay in Leadville to enjoy the trails, train and downtown area.

The property was clean & updated. The front steps to the porch were steep with no railing. My husband uses a walker and had some difficulty navigating the spaces. He wasn't able to bring his walker into the bathroom. The spaces are tight. There were no tea bags or sweetener. Little things but it does improve the presentation.

We have rented many houses in/near Leadville. This is the best by a very long shot. It is completely remodeled, repaired, newly furnished, well equipped and equivalent to the best hotels in terms of the sofa, beds, bedding, and bathrooms. The snow was cleared, the heat worked properly, and best of all it is truly immaculate. As 2 adults with 1 grandchild, there are no other choices in Leadville like this. We will be back when we can bring our grandchild.
