About this house rental
Welcome to Pelicans Perch! Come and relax at this family friendly St. George Island home that is only a block from the beach access. It's a 2 minute walk- we've timed it!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the nice screened front porch while you watch and listen to the sounds of the Gulf. The porch will be your favorite spot when you're not at the beach!
When you're not lounging at the beach or on the porch, enjoy watching TV on one of several flat screen TVs or enjoy a family game or puzzle. You might also like sitting under the house in a couple of hammock chairs enjoying the ocean breeze while you grill your dinner.
The kitchen is well equipped to cook most anything you want. There is a dining table for 8 and barstools/breakfast bar to seat 2 more.
Just off the living room is a master suite with king bed. The master has it's own sliding door to a relaxing porch. On the other side of this split floor plan are two guest rooms. The first is a queen bedroom and the second a kids bedroom with two twin beds. The guest beds share a spacious hall bath.
Back outside, there is an outdoor shower with hot/cold water for rinsing off/bathing after your day at the beach. There is also a fish cleaning table as well as covered boat parking if needed.
A storeroom downstairs houses the washer and dryer as well as a beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, cooler and numerous beach toys for the kids.
Just across the street is the paved bike path that runs for miles up and down the island. Great for biking or simply walking your dogs. It's around 1.2 miles to the center of the island and several restaurants. The East Hole public Apalachicola Bay access is approximately 3 blocks away for your kayaking and paddleboarding.

The house was impeccably maintained and one of the cleanest houses we have ever rented. Great floorplan with updated furnishings and comfortable bed and linens. We very much appreciated all the provided beach and house items and the lift made unpacking so much faster and easier. Would highly recommend.

Great place!! Great location right in front of beach and right down from restaurants!! Very easy to communicate with checkin, and property people!! Will return again in future!!

Really enjoyed staying at Pelicans Perch! Property was as advertised, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Couldn’t figure out how to get live sports on tv, but that was probably operator error. Used the washer/dryer downstairs, which was a big plus. Beach a short walk. Didn’t use beach cart, but glad it was there if we needed it. House was immaculate upon check in. Good water pressure in shower, beds comfortable. Thermostat easy to use, adjust. Kitchen well stocked. Lift a huge help getting our belongings up and down. Location was great, easy to find. Beach itself was awesome, not crowded. Will stay again.
