The Vulcano Terrace

Abbiamo adorato la posizione davanti al mare e la vista meravigliosa della terrazza. Il cortile, in stile tipicamente eoliano, con giardino ci ha permesso di mangiare in serenità quando stanchi del mare tornavamo con il piccolo. Il mare è letteralmente a pochi metri dalla porta. La spiaggia delle sabbie nere è proprio lì. La terrazza ha in un colpo d'occhio la vista maestosa sul vulcano e sull'arcipelago delle isole eolie con i faraglioni (abbiamo pure fatto aperitivo al tramonto, con il sole che finiva sull'arcipelago). Il centro di Vulcano porto è a due passi. La casa arredata davvero bene e con tutti i servizi efficienti. Andrea super gentile e disponibile! È stata una fortuna aver fatto una vacanza qui con la famiglia. Lo consiglio a chi vuole vivere Vulcano in tranquillità.

Super property set in its own grounds. Hidden away in a quiet location. Our host Andrea was very helpful sending photos to guide us to the location of the property which is not easy to find. Lovely veranda which would be great in the heat of the summer (we the were there in March ), and a fantastic roof top terrace with great views. Welcome breakfast pack and complementary bottle of wine gratefully received. Andrea our host very helpful when we found ourselves stuck due to ferry cancellations because of high winds, and was happy to let us stay longer until were able to leave the island.

Bathroom shower could do with some refurbishment, but worked well. There was an issue with the electricity which was east tripped out, but also easily sorted by not having the two rings on the cooker and the aircon(heat) at the same time. Andrea explained the electricity situation and island living. The end of the lane leading to the property was a mess, suffering from the winter storms with debris washed up the lane, this is outside of Andrea's control. Also have a torch handy for returning to the property at night, the lane is dark.

Vue imprenable depuis le toit de la maison sur le volcan, la mer et les autres îles, maisonnette comfortable et bien aménagée... le propriétaire a pensé à tout pour bien nous accueillir.
