VISTA AL MAR

This is the apartment with the best view that i have ever stayed in! It is so close to the sea that you can see it and hear it even when you are lying in bed. It's absolutely lovely. The balcony is directly overlooking the sea and it is amazing to have meals or just chill. Arrival was super easy via a lockbox. The apartment was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. The owner had prepared lots of little things for us, including fruit, wine, water and more, which made us feel very welcome. There were also things like herbs and spices as well as shower gel available which made the first day easier. The apartment is outside of Icod in San Marco with a beach and little shop nearby. The shop is very small but prices are good and you can get the essentials. There is a beach in San Marcos 10 min walk from the apartment as well with black sand and stones. The area is really quite and green and lovely. Good to know: while it is a bit more remote, away from the tourist hustle and bustle, the direct route to the South goes through Santiago del Teide and is rather winding. Getting to places along the North coast or towards the east and also getting to Santa Cruz is quite easy from there

Parking can get quite tricky, particularly if you arrive after a certain time.. The building itself is not very nice to look at from the outside but you forget that as soon as you enter the apartment. Some things in the apartment are a bit outdated or need a bit of love. Some of the kitchen doors were quite loose, the sun awning only came out half way and the washing machine was ancient but worked reasonably well. The fridge does make some interesting noises and is a bit loud.

- Good location of the apartment - it was quite easy to reach many locations from there but it was still quiet and cozy; - THE VIEW. Honestly the view from the balcony was just perfect. It looks great in the photos but it’s even more impressive (especially when there were high waves) in real life; - Apartment itself had everything I needed for my short stay. It even has the washing machine and coffee machine. - Parking (at least in the beginning of March) was quite easy - there was usually space just in front of the building. All in all - fantastic place to stay on the island.

It might be on a colder side and you can hear the wind though the balcony door if the wind is strong. But it didn’t ruin the experience and I still loved every minute in this place.

Everything is fine. A car is a must. The location is excellent for exploring northern Tenerife. The apartment is fully equipped. The ocean view is beautiful. Quiet and clean. You'll always find parking. Mercadona and Lidl are a 10-minute drive away.
