Apartamento en la Magalona

The location is convenient with ample free street parking and a Mercadona supermarket right next door. The apartment has a fairly well equipped kitchen and is reasonable.

The inexistance of personal contact is disturbing, staying here is like communicating with an invisible ghost. The keys are to be collected from a key box, but the information about this and the code are not communicated beforehand (a criticism also made by other customers, and which we fully confirm !). It is stressful to arrive at the place without having the code. I must admit that the (g)host fortunately answers immediately and provides the requested code, but in our opinion this should not be done when the customer asks for it, but the host should provide this information by himself beforehand ! On the second day of our stay, we noticed when returning in the afternoon that there was no water in the apartment (not in the kitchen, not in the toilet). We sent a Whatsapp message to the owner, he again replied within seconds telling that the town council had shut down the water supply and that it would be back after one hour. This shutting down is probably true (although the nextdoor Mercadona did have water), but as the owner replies so quickly about this shutting down, I would expect that he informs the guests about it beforehand, not wait until the guests have to ask what is going on. This lack of personal contact and the attitude of the sloppy (g)host is very disturbing.

Bien ubicado, a la entrada de Icod, encima de un centro comercial, muy cerca del centro histórico. El piso tiene lavadora, plancha para la ropa, secador de pelo… fácil para aparcar cerca.

Es un bloque de pisos, y como es de esperar, los vecinos hacen ruido. Entendemos que no es culpa del apartamento, pero es cierto que se oye todo.
