Characterful Cotswold cottage

Il cottage è delizioso, arredato con gusto e cura, creando un’atmosfera da vera casa inglese! All’interno non manca nulla, la cucina è completa di tutto, le camere sono spaziose, la biancheria e tutti i prodotti sono forniti in abbondanza, la pulizia è molto buona. Gli host sono gentilissimi e disponibili a dare suggerimenti per visitare i dintorni. La posizione è molto tranquilla, a poche miglia vi sono i principali villaggi da visitare della regione dei Costwolds.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The whole place was beautifully decorated, full of charm, and had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted with freshly baked scones, which were a lovely touch, and the property was equipped with absolutely everything we could have needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and the hosts were absolutely lovely—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns im Cottage von Lyndsey und Ed vom ersten Moment an Willkommen und Zuhause gefühlt. Alles ist wunderschön im Landhausstil und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Sogar an die Wäschewanne wurde gedacht, die fehlt oft in Häusern mit Waschmaschine. Die Scones mit clotted cream und hausgemachter Marmelade zur Begrüßung waren eine ganz besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Die ruhige Lage ist perfekt, um die Cotswolds zu erkunden und anschließend in ein gemütliches Zuhause zurückzukehren. Das sehr zu empfehlende „Wild Duck Inn“ ist quasi ums Eck. Cirencester und Bibury schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ein ganz besonderer Ort mit netten Gastgebern – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! ❤️

Het uiterlijk van het huis beviel me het meest. Schattig Cotswold huis met lage balken. Woonkeuken met grote dubbele oven. Huiskamer met houtkachel en heerlijke banken. Slaapkamer met 2 aparte bedden en ensuite badkamer voor de kinderen. Aparte, zeer charmante ouderslaapkamer eveneens met badkamer. Ontvangst door Lyndsey en Ed is top. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het huis (inclusief verse scones). Zelfs een EV lader aanwezig.

Wifi was niet heel goed (vond vooral onze zoon jammer). Bedden zijn minder geschikt voor lange hollanders.
