Beautiful house, beautiful views, wonderful location. Quiet and serene.
No cable TV service, the house was cold when we arrived and the thermostat was difficult to manage, the fireplace wouldn’t light, the water pressure was low (although I think there is no way around that), the pool was closed for the season, and there was no tea pot. Also very few clothes hangers.

The house itself is quite lovely. The location cannot be beat, the area is absolutely stunning. We were two families traveling together, 6 people in total and we had ample space. Proximity to the water and the pool and hot tub were nice. Comfortable beds. Gorgeous views. We enjoyed ourselves.
There were wasps nests around all of the outdoor seating areas and a few of us were stung. There was garbage left outside, apparently, from the previous guests. We had to request the pool heater be turned on and the hot tub water was clearly not cared for (cloudy and stinky). There was food encrusted on the barbecue from a previous user, this was discovered when the property manager was showing us around the property and no attempt to fix this was made. The house could have been cleaner. There was confusion about how we would pay the owner. We were told the day we were arriving we must pay by etransfer or cash, which was fine, though slightly inconvenient, as this expectation had not been made previously clear. They and their property manager were very responsive until they received payment. After that, despite us reaching out to both, the only time we had a response was 5 minutes before check out when the property manager drove up and sat in the driveway waiting for us to leave.
