The property is located in a park-like setting with beautiful gardens throughout, amazing outdoor patio spaces for both larger gatherings or a quiet escape if you wish to be alone, and awe-inspiring views of the ocean.
The Oceanside Lodge On Saanich Inlet was built for family enjoyment or quiet ocean side retreats comfortably for up to 12 people. Look no further and book one of the most unique properties in the Greater Victoria area.
Some of the key features of the lodge is a spacious formal living room space and dining area which centerpiece is a grand piano for those that can tickle the ivories. A fully equipped and modern kitchen for the chef in the family, or better yet, hire an in house chef to cook for you. Two dens, one on each floor, to relax or watch movies. Family fun time in the recreation room with pool table, TV viewing space, and seating.
The main feature for the house is the outdoor infinity edge pool with hot tub that flows over the edge towards the ocean. Looks absolutely fabulous.
Outdoor patio spaces on two levels both undercover throughout the grounds and house and around the pool areas. Outdoor BBQ for grill masters.
The lodge has two bedrooms on the main floor which includes the master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite and a second queen bedroom and full bathroom. Four bedrooms on the lower level that includes three of the bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms and a fourth garden suite bedroom and full bathroom as well.
The lodge is located on the Saanich Peninsula which is part of the Greater Victoria. Easily accessed by multiple transportation points by ferry or by air. 30 minutes drive into downtown Victoria, 10 minutes drive into the town of Sidney.
Experience Victoria attractions like Butchart Gardens, wineries, outdoor farmers markets, wonder restaurants, and shops all within a few minutes drive from the lodge.

The grounds, the size of the house, the pool and the view are fabulous. The decor and furniture are very dated. The driveway is a bit tricky because there's 2 cars parked in the carport. The address is almost impossible to see, much too small.

Our family of 8 stayed here for a week in October and were very happy with the property. The pros: The view, the pool and outdoor area, gardens, game room, common area space and kitchen were fantastic. The pool and hot tub were heated, the beach was accessible and so fun to explore, not to mention the woodwork and the house was all very beautiful. We saw otters, dolphins, jellyfish, and eagles from the house. The only cons were minor (the keys/locks on the house weren't easy to secure, parking was challenging as the driveway is long/narrow and down a hill which we had to back out of or into, and the home could do with fewer dusty fake flowers/plants). However, these things wouldn't prevent us from returning or recommending it to others. We had such an amazing time!
