Fint läge längs en smal kanal med restauranger och glasscafé runt hörnet. Balkongen är trots sin litenhet fantastisk att sitta på och se gondolerna glida förbi.

La posizione è fantastica. Raggiunginile facilmente dalla stazione ed a pochi minuti a piedi da campo dei frari e da campo san polo. L'appartamento é pulito e accogliente.
Potrebbe essere comoda una macchina del caffè a capsule o cialde, oltre alla classica moka.

The location is very close to the train station. I think it's a 5-minute walk from the train station. A few meters from the location is a bistro "Al Cafetier" where you will find a very kind staff, delicious food and cheap prices. The rooms are spacious and your minimum requirements are met. The internet connection was very good and never interrupted. I got the keys to the apartment easily, without worrying about possible delays related to the arrival. The host left them in a lockbox and send me the code a day before arrival. The sofa is very comfortable and you can sleep without problems. The kitchen, even if I didn't use it, has everything you need. The host was kind enough to leave some snacks in the kitchen.
There is a view of the canal, but you won't take a photo from here to frame it. You have a small balcony of 1 square meter with two nice chairs, but it will be difficult for elderly people to have access, being forced to "descend" an obstacle of over 50 cm. I found on the table, next to the wifi password, a request from the host to leave cash for the visitor's tax. I knew about this tax since the reservation and I wanted to pay it on the official website. It was announced on the website that in 2025 the fee will be charged from April 18 (the stay was in February) and thus I could not pay on the Venice website. The host contacted me on whatsapp and asked me to leave this tax on the table, as well as to send the data of the people staying (passport copies). I preferred to pay 24 euros (2 nights/3 people), although I did not understand what booking.com was referring to when it said that all taxes are paid ? Did my host charge me a tax that had to be paid only starting in April ? Why does the host not collect this tax with the other costs by bank card ? And regarding personal data, I have some mentions: I know that Italian legislation stipulates that you must present the documents at the accommodation. But I consider it mandatory that the host assures you in writing that he complies with all GDPR rules. It's a small TV, which doesn't have TV channels, but instead has Android TV and you can watch Netflix and YouTube.
