Maya Mallis

The apartment was clean and comfortable with a beautiful terrace. Also, the location was great to get to shopping, restaurants, and the port for easy access to the ferries.

Maya the host was exceptionally kind to me & did my washing on two occasions at no extra cost. She also provided taxi service for a good price so I could see other parts of the island (I was not confident to hire a car by myself). The location is very convenient walking distance to the port, restaurants & cute bars close by. Maya could not do enough to make sure my stay was comfortable. It’s better if you don’t have a lot of luggage as it is uphill & there are stairs to the apartment but help is available if needed.

Apartment is tight, if two people are staying don’t take a lot of luggage. I had a large suitcase which took up a lot of room. The ferry service parks out the front of a night, so take earplugs as you can hear it. I recommend an eye mask too as it’s a bright room.

Excellent location, great view

Maya was a lovely host. She welcomed us on arrival and was very helpful. Location was convenient for ferries and restaurants. View would have been good except there was a huge ferry right in front of room most of the time and was very noisy. Kitchen was well equipped.

The room was smaller than expected from photos. The bed was very creaky and not particularly comfortable. Sheets were thin and towels were rough. The balcony was ok but mostly in the sun.
