Milos Apartments

Great location, walkable to port and all restaurants, car hire etc. the house is small but suffices for 4 people. the host Avi was wonderful. He picked us up from the port. All ferries out of Milos cancelled for 2 days and he offered to let us stay beyond the reservation at no extra charge as his guest. Also offered help with rebooking alternate accommodations and suggesting alternate ferries.

Location was perfect, very close to the port (5 minutes walking and 3 minutes from super market) , very clean. The lady who did our check in didn't speak a lot of English but was still enough to understand each other and say greetings each morning. She was kind.

Very noisy as the busy road was right in front our door and the door was old and not at all sound proof. Lots of car noises but we sleep with earplugs so it was still ok.

Close to port Maria was super nice !

The apartment was generally okay. It was well-located and near the main bus stop, shops and city center.

However, there were a few points that we didn’t like. When we arrived we just wanted to leave a suitcase before our check-in but we could ‘t find the owner to do so. The owner was constantly around us, asking questions about the time we leave when we had just arrived. She even got in the room when we weren’t there to clean it without asking us, after the day we arrived, providing a “new” towel that had stains from the washer. Also, we got offered only one small bottle of shampoo and one of shower gel for two people.
