Seeadlerhorst

The property was located in Ostersee Olpenitz which is a holiday resort with facilities like a grocery and restaurant very nearby. The location is close to Kappeln with restaurants and shops, but please be aware you do need cash in certain places and restaurants on the beaches. Seeadlerhorst was a bright, fresh, clean apartment with all the amenities listed. You could sit outside or inside for meals with beautiful views of the sea on both sides of the flat. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals, both hot and cold, and all appliances were easy to use. Two generous sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and stunning views. Every room actually has a view of the sea. Simply marvellous. There is a lovely beach about 5-10 minutes walk away where dogs can take a dip and we could swim. Everyone we met were helpful and friendly. There is a car port at the front to park your car safely. We would happily stay here again.

The flat did not match the photos in the advert. Some of the furniture was dated but despite that it was presentable. We opted to bring our own linens and were not told that the pillow sizes in Germany are aprox. 60cm x 60cm- quite a large square shape, so we had to fold them to fit standard sized pillow cases. The fridge and freezer is small but was adequate for two people staying. The WIFI didn't work at first due to some incorrect information but once we contacted Pier 54, it was sorted quickly. Dealing with Pier 54 we personally found tricky at times, because we are not German speakers and being English/Swedish speaking, we would have liked some information in a standard language like English at times. We think this could be helpful to this company in the future.
