Katoomba Hideaway - Free WIFI, Netflix

Well priced for the fabulous accommodation. Really helpful owners who drove out quite a distance to sort out the WiFi.

It was cold and took a while to heat up, but everything needed to make it warm was there.

Beautiful location in a quiet and peaceful setting. The fireplace added a lovely, warm touch to the living room and kept the space cozy throughout our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, clean, and well maintained. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

While we enjoyed our stay overall, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The property was extremely cold during winter, and the heating provided in the bedrooms wasn't sufficient. The fireplace kept the living area warm and comfortable, but the bedrooms relied on electric blankets and small portable heaters, which were of little help in keeping the rooms warm on particularly cold nights. Another thing to note is that the laundry/second bathroom can only be accessed from outside the house. There is no internal access, which was a little inconvenient, especially during the cold weather.

Bed in main room very comfortable. Clean fresh sheets, electric blanket and very warm doona.

Cleanliness. I chose this property from the photos I saw as everything looked so clean. Not the case. Inside needs a thorough clean and outside a thorough tidy up. The house took a long time to warm up. Very disappointed.
