Maple Grove

The location was great as we could walk to Echo Point.It was only a 2 minute car ride into the main part of Katoomba where there was a woolworths store for any items needed and to the many restaurants . Also central heating was great for cold mornings.

This could be an excellent property for up to 6 people. Washing Machine availability, fridge, dishwasher, dining & lounge facilities are excellent.

Property was & still is advertised as having on-site parking however after booking confirmed, parking was described as on-street. Parking is Inconvenient & potentially dangerous with the amount & speed of traffic on the road. This Property with excess bed capacity to the needs of the 2 of us was only selected because it advertised on-site parking. Significantly cheaper accommodation is advertised unambiguously indicating on-street parking. We were unable to adjust the thermostat control on the heating. Late on our 2nd & final night the house became too hot. As we were unable to adjust the thermostat control on the heating, we turned it off & went to bed. In the morning we were unable to turn the heat back on & the vents only blew cold air out on a freezing morning.

Excellent location. Easy walk to the Katoomba town center, Echo Point and Scenic World. Spacious and comfortable rooms, bed and home. Central heating was great.

Coming from Brisbane the central heating in winter was very welcome. The accommodation had comfortable beds and overall it was well stocked with kitchen implements and crockery etc. A short drive to the attractions and the main street of Katoomba.

Netflix didn't work but this may be because of an internet problem but overall this is a minor issue.
