About this apartment rental
Modern studio apartment, with maximum capacity for 4 people, located in one of the most touristic hubs of Funchal, a few minutes walk from the beaches of the entire coastal area of the city.
This property, situated on the 1st floor of a building with lift, has a nice balcony and a spacious terrace with good sun exposure and comfortable outdoor furniture.
This apartment is equipped with air conditioning. The living room is divided in two areas, a living area, with sofa bed, cable TV and a small dining area, and also a sleeping area, with a double bed. The bathroom is common to all areas and is equipped with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with the necessary amenities to enjoy a good stay.
Wi-Fi is available in all areas.
AREA
The property is located in the one of the most tourist areas of the city. It is a few minutes walk from gardens, beaches and several services such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pharmacies, hairdressers, CTT and shopping centres. For beach lovers, there are different free and paid options very close to the property.
If you choose to explore the city centre, there is plenty of information about activities and tourist attractions to visit, both in Funchal and in the various places of Madeira Island.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

We want you to feel at home. We do not ask for more than respect for neighbours and care for the property, in addition to not smoking inside the house.

Goede locatie en communicatie. Check in via sleutelbos. Proper! Alles was aanwezig: droogrek, potten en pannen, koffiezet,.. Zicht op zee. Privé parking in garage. Ik raad het aan!

Appartamento molto carino e curato in zona Lido. Una zona a 10 min di macchina dalla città vecchia di Funchal. Ben collegata da qualsiasi mezzo. Proprio di fronte al lungomare.
Situato al primo piano. Molto luminoso. Completo di ogni facilities ( lavatrice, ferro da stiro, asciugacapelli, wifi, tv satellitare). Bagno molto piccolo e non particolarmente bello. Cucina nuova con disponibilità di stoviglie. Ampio terrazzo con tavoli e salottino con vista sull’interno del condominio.
Altro balconcino vista mare ed arredato, proprio adiacente alla stanza da letto.
Punto di forza è sicuramente il box auto coperto situato sotto il condominio.
Punto a sfavore il forte rumore che viene dalla strada per tutta la notte. Bar, ristoranti e supermercato a due passi.
Prezzo molto abbordabile.
Comunicazione con lo Staff eccellente.

I’ll start with the good: the location is nice. It’s in the heart of Lido, 40 min walk from Funchal and 2 mins from a grocery store. Surrounded by great restaurants and local stops for Poncha. The facilities were also nice, the bed was large and comfy, the AC worked well, the washer worked well.
Now for the bad, the check in was confusing and needs better information. I arrived late at night, the garage is locked and there is nowhere to enter a keycode. After scrounging for info I found a phone number for a check-in liaison and called it. The contact said that the garage opener was on the kitchen counter so we had to go up and grab it. Ok fine, there is no nearby parking so we blocked off the garage while we tried to enter. We could not find the apartment entrance anywhere. We called our contact again and he said he was driving and would send instructions in a few minutes. He never did. We asked both shops below the building how to enter the apartment and they did not know where to enter. Ultimately we found you have to go down an unlit alley on the right-hand side and the lockboxes are there. There are no lights so you need to hold a flashlight with your teeth while you enter the code to get the key. I suppose the lighting is not the fault of the host but some instructional photos would have helped. That was the start of our poor communications.
The next issue we had was trash. The instructions in the building say that there is trash next to the Spar grocer on the first floor. OK great, we found the trash (marked ‘Casa de Lixo’). Except it’s locked and none of the keys worked to open it. Again we called our contact and got no answers. He got back to us 2 days later and said he was on break and that his colleague was supposed to reach out. (No colleague reached out) Still did not give us info how to get in there. We ended up just hoarding bags of trash in the apartment and hopefully the cleaner has a key.
