About this house rental
Welcome to Imogene's! Our vintage, Midcentury modern A-frame, is a gem of a property located on the desirable waterfront of west Torch Lake. Featuring floor to ceiling windows with lake views, a large waterfront area, dock, large grass lawn with fire pit, basketball hoop in parking lot, and an expansive deck overlooking the lake. Ideally located just 10 minutes to Elk Rapids, 20 min to Williamsburg, 30 min to Charelvoix, Shanty Creek & Traverse City.
The space
Our cottage was originally built in the 1960's and has remained in our family ever since. It is well appointed and features many original mid-century modern pieces which have been kept in immaculate condition. The bedrooms feature comfortable beds and 100 % cotton linens. We are located in a quiet community with wonderful neighbors who are our friends.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire property, including the private dock. Generous parking area with plenty of space for families and friends to gather.
Other things to note
Please note that there are steep stairs going into the loft bedroom with no guardrails for small children. We have raised many children in this home and have not had any problems with it, but it's important for young children to be supervised at all time. The garage and attached guest house are not included in the rental. Please also note the boat and jet ski cannot be used by our Air b n b guests. You are welcome to rent or bring your own boat, and anchor it past the dock.
