We really liked our stay in Lagos. The apartment was very modern, well equipped and spacious. We had plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils in the kitchen. As we stayed in Portugal for a few weeks it was great to use the washing machine and the dishwasher to avoid unnecessary chores. I was a bit worried about the early noise from the fishermen as noted in a couple of reviews, but the windows are very well insulated and we all slept really well. We enjoyed the possibility to catch a tram to Porto, it takes about 25 minutes and you get off nearby Porto's town hall. There are also many great fish restaurants just a few steps away, so plenty of choice where to eat. Our host was very helpful, friendly and proactive so we got all the check in information in advance and had a smooth check in using a door code. There is a near carpark for a great price, so it was also very convenient.

We would have like to have the beach a bit closer, it may take 10-15 mins to walk there. Though once you get there, the beach is long and wide with plenty of space and options for volleyball, surf schools and other.

La rue très bruyante et surtout la mauvaise odeur. Mur pas suffisamment isolé. Il y a une poissonnerie au rez-de-chaussée de l'appartement .Nous étions réveillés très tôt le matin par le personnel de la poissonnerie
