The property is a short walk to markets, the beach, the metro and great restaurants. The washer/dryer works quite well. The three heaters kept the apartment warm. The kitchen is well equipped.
The bedrooms are located on the street side and can get quite noisy especially in the morning. There is no hanging closet.

The accomodation was near to the Porto Marathon and we only had a short walk there and back. We visited the local LIDL store, visited the local eating places and generally exploded the neighborhood area.
There was some noise from some passing traffic from listening in the bedrooms.

There was a lot of space and an equipped kitchen, meaning we did not have to go out all the time. It was very easy to find our way around Matosinhos, and the guest home was close to everything, including the beach, market and many restaurants. We also loved the cats that lounged on the rooftop below our room. Also, the owners permitted us to check in early which was very convenient.
Our rooms tended to get quite warm and stuffy. In addition, there were no light blocking shades on windows, making it difficult to sleep. Lastly, it was quite noisy at night, and I would recommend earplugs if staying here.
