Spacious and stylish penthouse in Mijas

The house is spacious. Has 3 bathrooms, good for privacy, especially when travelling with a group of friends. The kitchen has everything you need. Nice big terrace. Quiet area also. Nice place to stay. We enjoyed our stay.

The house could do with a bit of extra cleaning. Would be very useful and welcoming if another set of towels could be provided . Didn't like that we weren't provided with parking . We were told to find parking along the public road.

Very worm apartament,cozy and spacious, nice rooftop.We had everything we needed. We stayed 12 nights, all the beds were confortable and clean. We enjoyed the outside pool, good temperature of the water.

Terassit olivat hyvät. Huoneita oli riittävästi. Sohvat ja sängyt olivat hyvät. Kylpyhuoneet olivat reilun kokoiset.

Jakuzzi ei toimi. Asiasta otettiin selvää, siinä ei ole ollenkaan lämmitystä. Mainonnassa luvattiin, että se toimii. Myös esittelijä kertoi sen toimivan. Altaassa luki koko ajan ICE, eli se ei lähtenyt käyntiin. Mieheni pesi sitä monta tuntia. Altaassa oli valtavasti likaa ja levää. Otimme siitä kuvia, jos asiassa epäselvyyttä. Kylpyhuoneen ammeen poreet eivät toimi. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa komeron saranat olivat irti. Lattiat olivat jo tullessa hiekkaiset, josta ilmoitin. Imuroimme itse ja lattiat on pesty, joten ainakin nyt ne ovat puhtaat seuraavalle. Asuntoon on kaikki tuotava kantamalla kadulta ja välissä on monet portaat ennen talon alaovea. Siitä on hissi asuntoon. Ei huonojalkaisille. Lähistöllä rakennetaan paljon.

The apartment itself is nicely decorated, spacious, and well equipped. It was clean on arrival and the beds were very comfortable. The terrace is a lovely feature, and the apartment even comes with a paddle board, which is a great bonus and not something you often see. The property is located in a quiet residential area, around a 20‑minute walk to a beach with a bar and sun loungers. There’s also a local shop within walking distance, which is convenient. The team managing the property were genuinely lovely and very helpful, and they kindly offered us an earlier check‑in, which was much appreciated. We also received a bottle of wine and water on arrival which was very sweet gesture. This apartment has a lot of potential and several genuine positives, but the poor handling of the pool situation, lack of communication, and ongoing maintenance issues significantly detracted from our stay. Before booking, I would strongly recommend confirming in writing that the pool is fully operational.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by the fact that the pool was not working. The main issue wasn’t just that the pool was unavailable, but the very poor communication and lack of accountability from the owner. We were first told that the website stated the pool would only be open from mid‑May (which wasn’t accurate), and later told it was due to Calima sand damage. At no point was there an apology or clear, proactive explanation or rectification of the situation. We were travelling with a small baby and had planned our entire holiday around having access to a pool. Had we known in advance that the pool would not be usable, we would have chosen a completely different property. No meaningful alternatives were offered, only suggestions for a paid public indoor pool or a water park, and no attempt was made to arrange access to another local pool. In the end, I had to organise alternative pool access myself, which took time, unplanned expenses and effort and should not have been necessary. In addition, the value for money wasn’t great for what was offered. The upstairs bedroom is on a mezzanine level, which looks nice but offers very little privacy as noise from the living area carries through clearly. The terrace furniture is in need of maintenance: two large three‑seater sofas had broken legs, and based on previous reviews, this appears to be an ongoing issue, suggesting a lack of investment in upkeep.
