A special highlight: This stylish apartment features its own sauna in the bathroom of this exclusive apartment.
The Location
This modern and harmoniously furnished north-facing apartment is located on the 3rd floor. The vacation complex’s expansive grounds border the dike directly to the northeast; the other sides are surrounded by the waterway of an idyllic canal. The North Sea and the sandy beach are just 200 m away. You can easily reach a variety of shopping options, cozy cafés, and restaurants on foot or by bike. The water ski lift in Hooksiel, with its sunny terrace right on the water, offers a welcome change of pace.
Tip for families: A guided mudflat hike is an unforgettable experience—walking barefoot through the mudflats, breathing in the fresh North Sea air, and having lots of fun.
Amenities This tastefully decorated, non-smoking apartment features free Wi-Fi and offers an ultra-modern, fully equipped open kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, toaster, coffee pad machine, electric kettle, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. In the combined living and dining area, you’ll find a large flat-screen TV and a Blu-ray player. Both the dining table and the cozy seating area provide plenty of space to enjoy relaxing moments over breakfast or after an eventful day at the beach.
The apartment features two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and the other with a bunk bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m). Resort:
A vacation on the dike and by the North Sea at the wonderful NordseeResort Friesland!
The NordseeResort Friesland is situated in a magnificent location directly on the dike in a quiet, virtually car-free area and is surrounded by small, idyllic waterways known as “Graften.” The fine-sand beach is just 200 meters away. North Sea lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts especially enjoy the spacious and open floor plans and the excellent location of the charming vacation homes and apartments. The North Sea, the Wadden Sea, and the dunes put you in vacation and relaxation mode the moment you arrive.
The fresh sea breeze and the salty scent of the North Sea fill the air, infusing you with new vitality. Strolling along the beach and on the dike, building sandcastles, and searching for shells—or taking an adventurous hike through the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site—are fun activities for the whole family. Most of the apartments and vacation homes feature a sauna, a whirlpool tub, and a wood-burning stove. All accommodations offer a balcony or terrace. If you’d like, after a sauna session, you can simply walk to the nearby beach and cool off in the North Sea…
Schillig’s unique peninsula location, the gently sloping beach, and the shallow water are especially popular with families with children, but also with dog owners and their faithful companions. Here, two-legged and four-legged friends romp around together—each on “their own beach,” of course. The ebb and flow of the tides offers unforgettable experiences.
