Resort:
A vacation on the dike and by the North Sea at the wonderful NordseeResort Friesland!
The NordseeResort Friesland is situated in a magnificent location directly on the dike in a quiet, virtually car-free area and is surrounded by small, idyllic waterways known as “Graften.” The fine-sand beach is just 200 meters away. North Sea lovers, families, and nature enthusiasts especially enjoy the spacious and open floor plans and the excellent location of the charming vacation homes and apartments. The North Sea, the Wadden Sea, and the dunes put you in vacation and relaxation mode the moment you arrive.
The fresh sea breeze and the salty scent of the North Sea fill the air, infusing you with new vitality. Strolling along the beach and on the dike, building sandcastles, and hunting for seashells—or taking an adventurous hike through the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site—are fun activities for the whole family. Most of the apartments and vacation homes feature a sauna, a whirlpool tub, and a wood-burning stove. All accommodations offer a balcony or terrace. If you’d like, after a sauna session, you can simply walk to the nearby beach and cool off in the North Sea…
Schillig’s unique peninsula location, the gently sloping beach, and the shallow water are especially popular with families with children, but also with dog owners and their faithful companions. Here, two-legged and four-legged friends romp around together—each on “their own beach,” of course. The ebb and flow of the tides offers unforgettable experiences.
