A great and central place to stay in north Umbria offering a lot of things to discover.

Talacchio is located in a quiet place on green hills in northern Umbria, at 10 min from Cittá di Castello where you will find most of the services you need, as well as culture, restaurants and a nice market on Saturday mornings. The apartment we had at Talacchio was well equipped, comfortable and cozy, with a beautiful view from the terrace. And with it great hosts we felt so good, that we are sure, we will come back.

The property was amazing. The only thing that would have made it more amazing would have been a coffee machine in the room! The host family were so welcoming and friendly.

Incredibly beautiful and very friendly and generous hosts. Felt at home from the first minute. As if you go back in history with modern comfort.

Maybe a few lazy chairs somewhere outside would be great to watch the moon rising up over the hills.

An idyllic retreat on the borders of Umbria

We enjoyed a warm welcome at this peaceful hillside guest house and art centre. The rugged location has stunning views, yet it's only 5 minutes' drive to the nearest shop. Homemade cakes made breakfast time extra special.

The natural sulfur springwater was good for our skin, but after a few nights we looked forward to fresh water again!

Le lieu est magnifique et l’accueil chaleureux. La vue est magique, le chemin de Saint Francois surplombe le petit hameaux.

Il faut s’habituer à l’eau sulfureuse qui a une odeur assez forte.

MERAVIGLIA IMMERSA NEL VERDE

Posto strepitoso, immerso nel verde, struttura storica ristrutturata alla perfezione. Piscina suggestiva e immersa nel verde. In 5 minuti sei a Città di Castello.

L'acqua che esce dai rubinetti ha un odore sgradevole, è davvero l'unica pecca, motivo per cui non ho dato un 10. Ci hanno detto che deriva dall'acqua della fonte, spero facciamo un intervento per risolvere la problematica.

Un posto che non ti aspetti a due passi da città di castello

Sono stata a Talacchio con il mio compagno per il nostro anniversario e siamo stati accolti subito con un buon caffè da Elena, una ragazza fantastica, che con la sua semplicità ci ha fatto sentire veramente a casa. Elena ci ha anche raccontato la storia di questo piccolo borgo, il che ce lo ha reso ancora più interessante. La camera è abbastanza spaziosa, semplice, ma accogliente. Inoltre i muri spessi della struttura mantengono gli interni molto freschi anche senza l'aria condizionata. La piscina è dietro la struttura, immersa nel verde e come profondità è adatta anche ai bambini. In un angolo, pigiando un bottone, si attivano delle bocchette per l idromassaggio. Recensione zanzare: l'intero borghetto è cosparso da piante che naturalmente allontanano gli insetti: lavanda, rosmarino, mentuccia.. inoltre la porta e la finestra di camera sono dotate di zanzariere. Durante il giorno ho visto volare tanti "gruccioni", degli uccelli che mangiano un sacco di insetti e quindi anche zanzare. Non so se hanno fatto anche dei trattamenti, ma di zanzare ne ho vista e uccisa solo una ;)

L'acqua qui è naturalmente sulfurea e nel lavare i denti può risultare sgradevole, ma in camera avevamo già una bottiglia di acqua naturale proprio per questo.

Il posto più bello dove ho soggiornato negli ultimi anni

Struttura storica situata nella valle del fiume Lerchi. Sembra di essere in piena solitudine ma la città dista 5 minuti. Piscina bellissima. Colazione ottima. Staff cordiale e disponibile. Camere studiate nei minimi particolari.

Super idyllisch und gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die Umbrischen Städte, aber auch für Wanderungen auf dem Franziskusweg.

Für Menschen mit Einschänkungen in ihrer Mobilität ist es kein Urlaubsort.

Due giorni di pace

Un piccolo angolo di pace gestito con amore e cura da Elena e Daniele. Davvero impeccabile. Dalla camera bellissima, ai luoghi esterni inclusa la sala della colazione dove abbiamo gustato ogni singola prelibatezza che ci è stata offerta. Posizione strategica e comoda se si vuole visitare sia Toscana che Umbria.
