If you are looking for a location that makes you feel truly Apuglian, this is the place. Very clean and modern, well-equipped, excellent location in a historic building. Great hosts, even picked us up at the train station, and very quick to respond to questions. Very strong wifi. Comfortable bed. Tasty continental breakfast provisions, coffee, tea, juice all provided. Excellent air conditioning.
No chairs! Only hard, uncomfortable bar stools with no backs. We used towels to sit on. A couple of fold-out director’s’ chairs would have been great. Sofabed was a fold-out single cot-bed that we gave up trying to open for alternate seating.
No sea view at all, which was odd because it clearly states this in the description.
Quiet but not soundproof. It is very near the main stroll so be prepared for revellers! We did enjoy the cathedral choirs at night though.
Very steep stairs, might be worth mentioning in the description for anyone disabled or elderly. We are seasoned travellers in our mid-70s and while we managed okay, it was a challenge at times.
