Ideal for a stopover

Beautiful, grand, property on the northern outskirts of Jaipur. We planned to spend a couple of nights there on our way from Pushkar and Delhi. We weren't planning on doing sight seeing Jaipur, as it's a bit far from the city. Seems like other people had the same idea: the hotel was full. Everything was what you would expect from a Taj property: rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Decoration was tasteful. Staff were excellent: helpful, cheery, professional. Food was first rate. Prices are three or four times what you might pay in a city restaurant, but that's Taj. You have to accept that standard if you stay in such a place. By international standards, it's still good value.

The only hitch was waiting for dinner. It took about forty minutes for our three dishes to come. Otherwise, everything was very good.

The staff was very friendly. Loved the shower in the room and the toiletries.

While having lunch on the first day, we found a small dead fly in our nachos. We did highlight it and the coffee shop staff acted immediately.

Lovely stay at luxurious Taj Amer

Exceptional stay at a luxurious hotel with staff who are adept at providing great service and wonderful experiences. Our room view was the Aravalli Hills and it was beautiful! Himanshu ensured that his Concierge team led by Kashif provided culturally rich Jaipur tours in a comfy car, careful Taj drivers and with a knowledgeable guide. Manish at dinner dining was so helpful and friendly during our meal times and so attentive to our requirements. Taj Amer is a beautiful hotel with modern facilities and is top tier in Jaipur's accommodation sector.

The tour pricing did seem relatively high however the ease and comfort provided by Taj with the private guide and private car is worth the price.

Excellent stay in a beautiful hotel

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and very conformable. The staff was very nice and made our stay as nice as possible, including by providing great recommendations (Kashik was our concierge I believe). The restaurant is great with a beautiful breakfast. The facilities are also great, including the gym and pool. The rooms are very clean and of high standards.

The hotel is a bit out of the city so the drive back and forth is not the easiest. I would also recommend not walking outside of the hotel perimeters at night.

We liked the infinity pool but it’s way too small compared to occupancy of the hotel.

Perfect for a short trip outside of the hussle and bustle of the City.

We stayed at the Taj for 3 nights as we’re in Jaipur for a wedding. We wanted to have a relaxed couple of days and nights and this is what we did! The pool area was clean and relaxing. We used the spa a lot as great value for money and the treatments were pure bliss. The breakfast was very good - great omelettes and good coffee. House of Ming restaurant inside the hotel was outstanding.

From the moment we arrived we were taken care of with impeccable service. The staff were very kind and attentive. The quality of everything in the hotel is top notch and really a great value for your money. the location is close to all touristic sites and the views are impeccable. We had a little miscommunication and the way management handled it was very professional and generous. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Jaipur.

I enjoy some fresh air in my room so would have appreciated windows or a balcony. the rooms were very clean and well maintained that it did not make a big difference. Something I’ve experienced in several hotels in India are smoke alarms that emit a little flashing light which can be annoying for people who need complete darkness to sleep. the hotel was able to tape it for me which solved the issue.

The staff needs training , It took them a while to figure out the payment. The hotel is good but not luxury , feels empty , food just ok. It is at the most 4 star . If you are staying over night this hotel will be an ok choice, but if you are staying for few days then avoid.

Standard Taj hospitality. Standard Taj rooms. Some bits still under construction. We had sent our documents ahead from another Taj and, after a brief wait, our check in process was made very smooth. The staff appear new, but eager to perform well.

Family time at the best possible place

Clean calm quiet place for a nice break.Awesome food fantastic staff going out of their way to help guests. Zuber with his santoor made breakfast and dinner pleasant and he was super indulging us with cool music. Thankful for the staff at front desk here to help guests . She went out of her way to arrange for a cake for my husband's birthday bring in and a picnic treat for our trip back to delhi
