Flat 4

The flat (No.4, ground floor) itself was very clean, well appointed, light and airy with very tasteful decor. It was a useful space, not cramped. The kitchen had almost everything you could want. A dishwasher would have been the only thing needed to make it just right. The bedrooms were nice as were the two bathrooms, and the living space (lounge diner) was well lit with both windows and patio doors. It had a tv, dining table, some books, board games and a sofa bed. Four of us stayed so used both bedrooms/bathrooms. The flat is located just a few minutes walk from the train station, and is close to the rest of the town. It was ideally located for the Boardmasters shuttle bus which is why we were there.

The flat is situated in a part of town that is a bit run down and some of the 'neighbours' (possibly other tourists) were pretty unsavoury. We saw or could hear pretty unsociable behaviour on more than one occasion, in the day and at night. But we were not personally bothered by anyone. The walls/ceiling are a little thin. I could hear someone in another flat snoring (and they could probably hear me). So if feeling very secure and having quiet are really important to you, I'd look eslewhere. The price was high in my view. We paid over £2.2k for 6 nights (more than £350 per night with all meals on top of course) in Boardmasters week, which is understandably a premium week for the town but still. I wouldn't pay that for this accommodation for a 'normal' holiday in school summer holidays. But we did a lot of searching beforehand, and this accommodation provided the best fit for the four of us for this week.

Comfortable clean and location great.

Shower in bathroom could not regulate the temperature so either too hot or too cold. Other shower in on suite was fine. Also advertised as on street parking but there was a parking space with the property and only found out when we had paid £24 to park over 2 nights as unable to street park.

Good location, close to the Main Street.

It was great value for money just what we needed somewhere to sleep that’s clean and tidy

Nothing not to like
