The Neighborhood:
This is right next to Forest Park, which is a short walk away! Forest Park is ideal for those who enjoy biking, running, or golfing, as there are two different courses available! You can visit the Art Museum, Maryland Plaza, the Loop, and many other attractions. It is also ideal for anyone working or attending school at Barnes, Children's, Wash U, SLU, or STLCOP, not to mention grocery stores! Schnucks, Whole Foods, Straubs, Shapiros Market, Aldi, and other grocery stores are just a hop, skip, and jump away!
Getting Around:
Although this is a very walkable neighborhood, there are bus stops directly in front of my building. You can take the Metrolink at the end of the street to downtown St. Louis for a visit to the Arch or a Cardinals/Blues game! There is also a Loop Trolley stop at the end of the street. Take the Trolley to Forest Park or ride it to the Delmar Loop Entertainment District!
Laclede Cab and St. Louis County & Yellow Cab are our two main cab companies for getting around town by car. There are also UBER and LYFT.

The property was exactly what we wanted. Neat Forrest Park in a nice neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and we were able to watch TV using our own streaming service. The only minor problems were getting accustomed to the access keypad, but VRBO helped explain its nuances. Also, the shower head was spraying against the bathroom wall, so a maintenance guy had to come and fix it. The kitchen faucet was plugged so water came out in a trickle. This will be an easy fix as the screen filter on the faucet appeared to be clogged and only need removal and cleaning.

Older apartment but, clean. Very quite and comfortable bed. Just one night needed. Ok for dog but, second floor. There is an elevator and then a stairway right by the apartment that was easier to get pets out. Behind the bldg was a dirt/some grass area ok for pets to relieve themselves with poop bags available. .

Nothing fancy here. Pluses: Beds were comfortable, the location is good, and the price was right. Minuses: Security door was never latched, Gutter had a leak that dripped right on your head as you walked in, Elevator in building didn't work, bathroom is really old looking and is easily the worst looking part of the entire space (but still serviceable). So overall 3 stars seems about right.
