Our stay at Zama, Miraluna condo was fantastic. The service provided by Carlos Alberto and Miguel was exceptional, they were very friendly and always willing to serve. The studio apartment was very cozy, very well equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was tastefully decorated. We also had access to two bicycles to ride around the center of Tulum and the beach. We definitely had a great time and would like to return. We highly recommend this place.

Let’s start with the worst: we arrived evening time after a long time in travel. We woke up to no power or wifi on the first morning. The whole building was out and we could not plan our day. Worse though, the power surge broke my laptop. It worked when I went to sleep, I plugged it in and I woke up to it broken. I was not able to do any of the work I had to do on my trip. And have a huge repair bill now to fix the laptop. According to a tulum repair shop the electrics in tulum are known for this.
The building is surrounded by construction. I booked this space for the outdoor patio that I imagined we use and we could not use it in the day because of construction noise right outside. The evenings it was too filled with mosquitos.
Next up we booked 2 beds (one for me, one for my teen son) but there were no sheets provided for the sofa bed the entire time we were there. We contacted Baba’s a through the Vrbo app as we have Canadian cell phones and could not call. We asked for them to be dropped off at front desk but nothing ever was. Also no kitchen towels or face cloths. The kitchen items are minimal.
You definitely need a car as you are quite far from the beach and the town.
The good- the apartment is as beautoful as the photos. The complex amenities are lovely - the downstairs pool was a great place to relax in the shade. And staff onsite at the security gate and front desk are very lovely and helpful but have nothing to do with vacasa who is the rental company.
