Ma Maison

A lovely and charming simple rustic stone house right in the middle of the old town of Vence. Spruce and clean, with very comfortable beds and an unexpected area/small courtyard outside on the ground floor, as well as a much larger balcony area on the first floor bedroom where there is easily enough room for a meal for 4. Also loved the attention to important detail such as the hot water in the bath and the shower room being piping hot and working very well, and overhead fans which will be wonderful in the height of summer.

It was pretty much entirely to our taste because all the important things to us were made available, and the mattress and bedding were all clean and comfortable. And it was exactly what we were looking for.

La maison est très bien située, au cœur du centre historique de Vence, dans une ruelle calme, ce qui permet de profiter du charme de la ville tout en étant à l’écart de l’agitation. Elle constitue un bon point de départ pour découvrir la région. La décoration, soignée et personnelle, reflète les origines danoises de la propriétaire ainsi que son goût pour les objets chinés, ce qui donne à la maison une ambiance en accord avec son histoire. Le rapport qualité-prix est intéressant pour le secteur.

S’il fallait mentionner un point à améliorer, ce serait l’absence de lave-vaisselle — ce n’est pas forcément la tâche qu’on a envie de faire en vacances. Il manquait aussi un peu d’espace de rangement pour nos effets personnels.
