Left our hearts there...

We had an unbelievable stay at this hut! Is was so cosy, comfortable, clean and well cared by the amazing owners. We couldnt't have had that any better. The view every morning when we opend our eyes was incredible, just like a fairy tale right in front of us. The bed was inviting and cushy and, although the hut is really tiny, we had a lot of space for all our belongings during our holiday. There was all we needed and more, plus some little extras which made the difference, like some cookies, wine and the incredible mint cake. We got so addicted to that, that we now let us come some kilos to germany.... We are very thankful and we hope to come back soon!

I have absolutely nothing to complain. But a little diffuculty we had at arrival. Our flight was in the evening and after we picked up our car from the rental, bought some first things and ate a quick bite, it got already dark. And i mean dark like really black. The adress was a whole piece of the street, meaning an area some miles of the road. The link to the location we got from the rental agency sykes cottages didn't work and the phone number we called was only for office times. So it was a challenge to find the spot, we met some amazing people, all of them wanted to help us but we (and some others too) drove around till 2.30 in the morning when we suddenly detected the hut with google satellite photos. So I would urgently recommend sykes cottages to give a better description for getting there. Till then there is mine: when you come from northern direction, you drive along the coast road until you pass the milk hut (you can find it in google maps, and it is well illuminated and a spot in the night for all kind of people), then slow down. In the middle of the following (long) fence there is a driveway to the farm. By daylight you can see the little sign MOUNT PLEASANT FARM, but in the night you are hopelessly lost. Drive that along, park on the well signed parking space and go to the back of the farm, right through the houses. We had been there this night two times before, but we didn't dare to walk around so far, not knowing if we had made out the right spot. Check-in was easy then, light was on for us and the keys were simple to get.

Hidden Gem

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for Jackie our host, the attention to detail and the small touches that made all the difference, we can't wait to return and reccomend anyone to book this little gem.
