Parkknott Retreat Luxury Lodge with Private Hot Tub

This is our second time visiting so we knew what to expect but we were just as happy as the first visit! It is so chilled just what we needed for a kid free weekend away. We also had amazing weather on the Saturday so we sat outside for the afternoon again so peaceful. The lodge was clean, tidy and the bed is so comfy!! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

No proper blinds or curtains so can get light very early!

How clean it was very modern, it had all you needed for a nice break away, was nice and quiet, the hot tub was very good and very clean. The man we met there was very helpful with explaining what around where to go and was just a really nice guy

Nothing you had everything you needed

The property was superb, 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, comfort and location. The facilities were great, 2 tvs, dishwasher, cooker, kettle etc. The bed was very comfy and warm and the rainfall shower was very nice. A 5 min drive got you to the nearest village, askam in furnace, which had a co op, chip shop, pub, Indian and Chinese restaurant. At the edge of the village was a free car park right next to the beach. Perfect for a picnic!

The only thing I could pick fault on was the fence around the hot tub wasn't completely enclosed and the curtain across the main door was sheer. Should point out however, the whole place was secure and only the residents had a key fob for the electric gate.

No tv worked in both rooms . Bit of a treck to get any food or pubs
