Tolles Schlafzimmer (mit Klimaanlage) mit Blick in den Dschungel aus dem Bett und vom Balkon, sehr viel Platz, warme Duschen..toller Pool mit Grillmöglichkeit. Gute Lage in der Nähe der Straße (kein 4x4 nötig), aber ruhig und viele Tiere zu sehen :)

Sehr mutige Verkabelung des Duschkopfes mit freiliegenden Kabeln.. Sehr dunkle und wenige Lampen im Wohn/Essbereich.

Es una casa muy espaciosa, con una cocina muy moderna y equipada y una zona común muy completa. Tiene aire acondicionado en el dormitorio, cuenta con piscina y barbacoa. Beatriz y Gerardo son encantadores y te ayudan en todo.

The caretakers, who live adjacent to the property were very helpful and pleasant. Location is approx 20 mins from Puerto Jimenez which was fine for us.

We were burgled on day two whilst in the house and all our cash was stolen and we were suddenly thrust into the situation of having to deal with the police, the judiciary and the banking systems. It turned out that the CCTV which covers the back of the house had not been functioning since July 2024. The host, to this day, has been singularly unhelpful. He provided no assistance, has not compensated us in any way and has not once instigated contact. We were understandably traumatised by the whole situation but nothing was changed although we were advised on several occasions by the caretake that the host was going to visit he did not turn up in the four weeks that we were there. We have tried to negotiate with him on recompense both whilst we were there and after we left, and he has had ample opportunity and time to compensate us but he has chosen not to. Scoring the host: Helpfulness 0; Responsiveness 0; Communication 0; Concern and compassion 0; Moral judgement 0. The property is not well signposted coming from that Puerto Jimenez direction. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom and the rest of the house has fans which are ineffectual. There are many doors into the property 4 downstairs and 6 upstairs and some have no locks whilst others have locks more suitable for internal doors not external. Although the listing shows and says laundry, it is not available to use; it has to be paid for $10 a time and is done by the caretakers.
