The Boathouse Seahouses

It was compact but had everything we needed as a family. It was lovely to have a sea view from the living room. We could see the harbour and one of the Farne Islands. I know previously guests found issues with the shower but we thought it was ok. We also had no issues with the garage size. The shower in the garage was useful for cleaning sandy feet. The location was ideal for the town and beaches. We would happily stay again.

It is a little noisy when it rains.

The boathouse had a fab location, ideal for visiting sea houses. Just around the corner from The Swallows, Fishmonger. Beds comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped.

Shower is absolutely hopeless. It leaks on the floor, because the seal is no good. There is no power in it. The carpets in the lounge are heavily stained and were dirty. This was the first thing that I noticed on arrival, also the kitchen table was sticky, hence we did not eat off it. The bathroom smelt heavily of urine. The property needs a good, thorough clean. For the price we paid, I do not feel it was value for money.
