Nice place, shame it wasn't presentable in arrival

It could do with a deep clean, front porch was covered in bird poo, door was very dirty, corners missed eg behind tv and cobwebs, little things like this spoilt by the cleaning which was missed

Beautiful town, house is superb and in a fantastic location

Superb property, lovely decor. Amazing location, close to beaches, shops and pubs. Off road parking. House was nice and clean with plenty of hand wash, toilet rolls etc. Everyone on our trip has already asked to stay here again next time we visit Seahouses.

Check in at 5pm is a little later than normal. Dishwasher wasn't working that well. We had to wash a lot of things by hand a second time.

Beautiful rooms in a great location. Very clean and furnishings very tasteful and stylish.

Lack of loo rolls in all bathrooms, we often have a welcome pack with some essentials, it’s a nice touch. Downstairs bedroom extractor not working.

A lovely house in a great location.

The location was good - an easy walk into town and close to the harbour. Plenty of bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom. Comfortable beds. A nest with 5 baby swallows was in the front porch and caused much delight.

There was insufficient light in the living room. The lamps were very dim. We would have liked more mugs and another cafetiere. One of the toilet seats was broken and the bath in one of the bedrooms (A stange location - we would not have used it as the ensuite had a large shower) had inches of water in it when we arrived which did not drain away.

Beautiful spacious house in a wonderful location.

It is spacious, really nicely decorated, very clean and in a fabulous location. Parking for 2 vehicles at the back and easy self check in. Lots of bathrooms, comfy lounge, great oven and hob, large fridge, a really lovely place to stay. Thank you!

The heating didn’t work in all the rooms at first and was noisy at times. Kitchen could do with some cooking utensils, more food storage, some small sharp knives etc for food prep, but mostly it was fabulous.

A stunning cottage in a fabulous location

A stunning cottage in a fabulous location next to the harbor and an excellent pub. We were a group of 4 friends with a bedroom each and practically a bathroom each. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean as a whistle and well kitted out. We had a fabulous break here

Nothing at all - only bit of feedback would be the lack of kitchen scissors and an ice cube tray but we managed!

The view from the sitting room was poor and it felt like being in a goldfish bowl as people looked in when walking past(blinds?). Entry time was 5pm - why ? Radiators in bedrooms were noisy during the night and had to be turned off.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Seahouses and Northumberland - cosy, comfortable, clean and luxurious.

Lovely cosy cottage with beautiful decor in a really central location for Seahouses’ harbour, pubs and shops. Very comfy beds and furnishings, and everything was high quality and very clean. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely no major complaints but just a few finishing touches that would have made our stay even better: - the lighting overall wasn’t bright enough but would be easily resolved with an extra floor lamp/side lamp in the living room and brighter light bulbs in the bedrooms - more storage for clothes (e.g. a bigger chest of drawers) in the upstairs double room (not the en-suite room) and hooks on the backs of doors. We didn’t have enough space to unpack all our stuff. But these are very minor complaints that could be easily remedied!

Seahouses Break

The accommodation was really excellent and very good standard. Very close to the harbour and main town and shops. Also across the road from a very good pub and restaurant The Black Swan.

The back door did not open, and the dishwasher did not work. We reported this the morning of the second day. Someone came and looked at it, but it did not get rectified in the week we were there, and we didn't have any communication back about either issue. Despite leaving 3 messages.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage but only really 3 bedrooms that could be used-no garden for dog

Cottage was self catering and was well equipped. Once we had heating on after arrival, cottage was very cosy. Beautiful bed covers, very comfy beds. Rooms were all an excellent size and tastefully furnished.

No outlook from cottage although we had been led to believe it was located in the harbour-front living room looked onto a street with people walking by. Downstairs bedroom could not really be classed as a bedroom as everyone had to walk into this room to go in and out of the house! This room was very cold and as we had wet weather, wet shoes trailed in and out of this room. Lastly, although cottage said dog friendly, we found it difficult to take dog out a walk at night as there was nowhere nearby to walk him....

Atmospheric cottage, very spacious, very clean and well-appointed. Would happily stay again.

Great location. Close to sea and shops. The area was very large and spacious. The property would very comfortably sleep 6 people (and 8 would also be good as long as they were happy with the one twin-bed room.

A bit hit or miss with regards to tea-towels (just one provided) and there was no washing up liquid and just a single dishwasher tablet. Not an issue if we'd known but we only found this on arrival.

Perfect cottage - nice and roomy for eight people.

Location was perfect. Within walking distance of Bamburgh Castle (3.4 miles) and many other walking trails. Plenty places to eat, boat trips etc.

Only comment we would make is that the information about Harbour View said there was a wood burning stove and we would need to take kindlings, wood etc if we wanted to use it. The stove turned out to be electric! So perhaps you need to update the website infomraiton

Fab Holiday House In Seahouses

Fab house beautifully decorated. Great location in the centre of Seahouses. Lovely big courtyard at the back of the property with two car parking spaces. Four good sized bedrooms with good quality fittings. En-suites and Main Bathroom again were fitted with good quality fittings and beautifully decorated. The whole property was very clean. The beds and bedding were good quality and very comfortable. We all really loved this property and will book again. Thanks to the owner’s- great holiday home.

A wonderful time had by all!!!!

Great location and the large open plan kitchen dining room lounge area was great for the family event. Easily had room for the 7 of us. We booked harbour way for parents Diamond Anniversary and it was a fantastic break.Booked the Beadenal Towers resuarant for the special meal on the Thursday and everyone thought it was fantastic. We will be booking again definately.

Great location. Good for parking. Good room sizes.

The house had not been cleaned properly before arrival even though we were denied check-in before 16.00 to give extra time for thorough cleaning. Floors were dirty, toilets had not been cleaned properly, one not even flushed. Dust present on many surfaces. Arrangements made for cleaners to attend house while we vacated for a few hours, cleaners never arrived. No response when we informed of cleaners no show. Very disappointing.
