Lovely house near the beach
Great location with lovely sea view from the large sunny 1st floor terrace. A short walk to the beach, shop, pubs and a cafe. Bright, clean and very well equipped property with nice bed linen and towels and good quality loo roll. Rooms decorated with wall hung prints and woodcraft objects. Reading materials, binoculars and a large telescope were useful. The owner was in touch during our stay checking that we had everything we needed and was helpful with a swift answer to a query about our difficulty locking the door to the terrace. Very generous welcome basket with wine, prosecco and food items.
We didn't expect the twin room to be unsuitable for adults with small thin matressed beds under a low ceiling. All 3 showers had fixed rain heads (no hand held spray) so it was hard to rinse soap off of lower body. Far too many cushions on the beds but this overabundance of scatter cushions seems pretty standard these days. People with dogs or small children should be aware that there are no internal doors between hall/stairs and open plan livingroom/kitchen.
