Located in the neighborhood of UCSD and Scripps Medical and Research center with views of the Pacific Ocean from the balcony. You can walk to the beach in about 3.5 miles which I did but you will encounter hills on the way back. I had a rental car which is needed to see the area and to get to shopping centers and coffee. The home is very comfortable and has lots of breeze from the sliding glass doors. Very spacious and room for the 4 of us to spread out. It was great having a sister reunion and being able to stay in one place instead of a hotel. Three bathrooms each with a shower was a dream. The owner promptly got back with me within 10 minutes when I had a question.
No improvement necessary.

It was very comfortable! The location was great!
It needed some cleaning. The grill was not usable very dirty. The place was dusty. Found wrappers stuck into the couch. The patio could be swept. And it is a loft upstairs and I counted 23 steps. Pretty steep to carry groceries and luggage up

Watch out for the oversized futon bed frame in the master bed; it's a shin buster.

Very spacious and quiet. Good location also, easy to get there
The propane tank for the barbecue was empty. We had brought food to barbecue so it was a let down.
